Celebrity Bus Roadeo Wraps up Try Transit Week
The Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) Celebrity Bus Roadeo at the Berkshire Mall. Several celebrities drove the BRTA’s new blue 30-foot long Opus buses through a timed obstacle course. A battery of judges from across the commonwealth scored competitors as they navigated the bus through each of the six required maneuvers. Celebrities also completed a required written safety test. This sponsored event raises public awareness to the benefits public transportation provides to the community.
